Well.. so I added new 40 $ to my account. And started playing double or nothing 5 $. I usually win 2/3 times there! So my account was after a while saying 120 $. But i can't help myself thinking that is a lot of luck! Really... i go so much all in. And i just wait and hope for the best. So recently i tried thinking, i will stop go all in! Never go all in unless i'm 100 % i've the winning hand! Never all in preflop... never! Not even with AA. Is that stupid? I always loose on this dumb all-in situations!

but!! that was just to get a little story on the table. So! When i just go on hold'em and no limit, just a regular table, no sit & go, i loose everything! I never win :( i think 60 % i call with crap hands, because i'm so... spontaneous! Then i fold because of some guy raises. And I suck in after flop play, always thinking he MUST have that second king... or something... so i usually just fold. It's more all-in or folk every situation! Then i 99 % loose! I've read some books etc. what i actually think i should do is ALWAYS use at least use 6 seconds on just thinking about what i should do. Just.. not press the button right away... Well.. my question i guess is... what books should i buy to get good in this regular tables? no limit hold'em... and... well.. other things i should consider doing :p

Thanks for reading my post!

Yes ALWAYS think - whether or not you are using the TIME button or not... Always think of what you are going to do what you can do what you need what your opponnent may have - ALL in or Fold may be fun and exciting at first - but it will wreak havoc on your bankroll.

AA is a good Starting hand - and it can make you a lot of money - but it will not always hold up and sometimes you will lose to KK/QQ/AK or even *gasp* 72o - But just because you lose with it sometimes does not mean you should hesitate in playing with it - but ALL IN is not the first option you should think of with it - - it can be the right move in the right situation.

Hey 72o might make you some money sometimes too - but that does not mean it will do so very often... you probably should not play it - but as they say any two cards can win - but it is the choice of starting hole cards that is the foundation of whether or not you will be successful.

Read as much as you can - and check around this forum - and others for play situations that give you an idea of how to maximize your profit with the good cards and how to possibly get away from those hands that will cost you your entire stack.

Try Harrington on Holdem - there are a few
Try D Brunsons Super System - some call it the Bible of Poker (some good info in it - but take all information in all books with a grain of salt and think of why ideas are good and adapt them to your own play style that you need to develop) - And never stop reading/studying/learning

Try to observe some tables online without putting your money on the table - try to learn through observation.
Play on play money tables - play on free roll tournaments
