Hi folks, and thanks for having me here.
I found this forum last night and spent quite a while reading aboout the subject game, a game I never played much.
Normally my most frequent (I play on PokerStars
) game is $2.50 180 player S'nGs, but last night I started playing $1.50 & $3.50 HTs
While I don't particularly like the "shove or fold" way of playing, I'm finding so far the best ROI is actually the experience, and learning to play this way when short-stacked, and eventually heads-up if I get that far.
I'm not a "extreme-multi table" player and normally play a max of 4 tables, depending on the tourney style. Personally, the folks I see playing 20-30 tables, or even 90 according to PS staff, totally defeats what I enjoy about the game, but that's a story for another thread.
Which leads me to the questions:
- When you folks play HTs, do you normally play single tables or multis?
- Can the experience of learning to play HTs effectively carry over to a different style of tourney or Turbo or regular speed S'nGs as noted above, when short stacked.
Again, thanks for having me.
