Relative and absolute.

Do HUDs tell you that?

When doing post game analysis, the tracker will offer just about any stat you want. However, seeing the flop OOP isn't a stat I would worry about.

Notice I mentioned post game analysis. Unless I set my HUD up for it, it is not a normal stat to see.

PT4 shows me the same stats about my play as it shows me about others play. It shows me how many games I have played against each individual and the tendencies they have shown over that period.

While I'm pretty sure there are a few players out there who have configured their Tracker/Hud to show them some very out of the norm stats, most (I suspect) wouldn't vary much from the standard set ups. And how often I see a flop OOP is not a normal stat for a HUD to display.

VPIP is a more important stat, and pretty much incorporates that OOP concept. So, if I notice my VPIP is higher or lower than normal, I get the idea....

I assumed, I guess based on the importance of playing in position, that you would at least see more flops in position than out of position.

I played a freeroll at intertops, they show how many flops you see from SB, BB, and everywhere else. My VPIP was 15-17%, I finished in the top 25 or so, and I played more hands out of position than in because I saw so many flops from the SB and BB. I'm sure a lot of it was terrible freeroll limp play.

So I'm curious what the breakdown is when real money is on the line.

Real money is on the line in freerolls! Don't confuse play money with freerolls. And don't confuse low level play money games with high level play money games.

A thing happens at high level (buy-in) play money games where the sportster comes out, to rival the gambler. With Pride on the line rather than Prizes.

Which tracker/HUD are you using? I'm using PT4. I'm not sure I could find a stat for seeing the flop OOP. You've got me wondering tho, so maybe I'll go look harder for one, and toss it into my HUD for a week or so if I can find it.

For the record, I don't think it will add much more than the VPIP stats tell. Remember that any VPIP over 30 implies that person is seeing more flops OOP. Then figure out what you consider OOP vs how many seats at the table, i.e. are there 4 seats in position at a 6 max table? 3? 2?

I played with hud while my computer was active. pre-flop my aggression was always over 50. I always liked to play well positioned. I could check my notes, see all the hands I was passing at any moment in the replay. Check out the story of the game at the end of the session and write new notes about something that went undetected. Now I'm playing on my cell phone, there is no replay: notes and hud. I need to go back to playing on the computer.
