So I've decided to try out limit poker for something different. What I find so annoying is how much money I seem too lose compared to my wins. I seem to always be just behind in huge pots but when I have a monster hand everyone folds. I lost with hands like AA, JJ, and AK multiple times. Are these hands devalued in Limit? Is limping an option in limit? Is it worth C-betting the flop? I seem to be getting massive suckouts on my hands so I must be doing something wrong.

I used to play limit freerolls a lot. Problem is everyone is always raising. I learnt to only play till the turn and then fold. Thing is with limit we seem to have to pay more to see each card. It's a lot harder and a lot slower than no limit. If you C-bet the flop, people tend to call anyway so it's harder to see what your opponent has.

online poker differs from live poker in online poker more matters of luck or chance than professionalism

Limit holdem is fun to play now and then. Like to keep within pot odds to chase. Not many games to play on-line though.

You are asking how to transfer to fencing from hardcore ninja fights?

You want to know how to play like a coward? LOL Here is how: Never bluff in Limit Hold'Em, bet like you are standing naked at the table with your cards facing the others each on one nipple.

I'm afraid that madman is correct. With a limit, you'll get a lot of people chasing. It's essentially impossible to bluff. If you have something decent, then pay to see the flop, but then you had better have something seriously powerful (or a lot of options) because you aren't going to scare many people away by raising.

There's less skill for sure in limit hold'em, which is why you're losing. You're overthinking it.

That,s not so hard to play limit holdem, even, if you don,t played it before. Go play low limits, there are lots of donkeys there, so it,s pretty easy to get some money and experience. If you want - you can find different videos on youtube about this game.

It seems to me to play without limit, just more interesting! Limit is boring, boring, boring... no? lost the excitement of the game, the passion..
