I am a recreational poker player at the moment, playing only when i have the available time as i work shift work on a 4 and 2 schedual switching from nights to days inbetween days off. I work my life away as anyone trying to get ahead in life would. However im noticing that no matter how long and hard I dream of becoming a regular at a casino or home games, i am never actually going to be in a position to do so until i move to a location which allows me to play everyday .. consistantly.
I live approx. 2 and a half hours away from the closest casino that has live dealers and poker tables, and due to my work load i cannot make time to drive down. I find myself in a constant loop of doubt as i can only realistically play online when i have the available time, but im constantly burning through $100 deposits bluffing in marginal spots to make a quick buck in cash or zoom games, or buying in tournaments (i know i dont have the time to finish) but the top prize gives me the "what if" factor.. and i end up getting a bad beat or even just lose a hand to a better and i get so tilted because i knew i blew my bankroll again.
Im a very honest person and i hope that i dont sound like im complaining, i am actually hoping to gain some knowledge or get some help through comments or suggestions as to how i should TAKE ACTION in my situation. Ideally im a much better live player then online, i can honestly say i am a profitable cash player and it is way more enjoyable to be a part of. So that is the ideal path id like to follow, any suggestions would be so helpful (how to build a roll for once i move, how i can move faster, things to consider, neccessary steps...)
