Recently my game has been on a decline and I know i have to put in the time to study to find and plug leaks in my game. The problem is,when I study, I don't know where to start.

The game I mostly play is PLO does anybody have any tips and advice on where to start ive just wrote down two things I was thinking of doing

1. Rewatch training videos and review notes.
2. Hand histories reviews and data base analysis.

Have clear objectives for your study sessions that adress your weaknesses

A comprehensive approach to the study of poker strategy can help you - you need to read the poker literature, and watch the video, and disassemble your hands, and discuss with friends-poker players their weaknesses!

Every time you play a hand notice every single moment, make desicion and then watch where they lead you to. As for me I for example basically know what parts of my game need to be improved. Try to see the best way of playing of every hand. Where to raise , where to call or where to fold if you are behind already.
Watching videos of how pros playing I think is a good way to learn. But you should remember that they play high limits mostly and the game there is obviously different.

Post your hands for others to disect.

Add your insight when others post hands to see if you are on right track with your thinking.

The main thing to do is to look back at tough spots not just huge spots. Sometimes you may be playing the little pots wrong and bleeding chips and never address it because its not a huge losing hand.

Those little pots add up over time and if you are playing them wrong you are hurting your chances to win.
