I don't know how to slowplay and get maximum value from my strong hands. I see all the time guy's getting maximum value when they flop the virtual nuts im lucky if i get 1/3 of someone's stack. What do i do do induce the other guy to bluff? or make him think he has the best hand so he keeps firing? Cause the only move i know in poker is the slowroll and that just gets me bad press.

At micro stakes sometimes I'll make a ridiculously small raise that's like 10% of the pot and many times that'll induce a massive re-raise. No idea why they do this but it works for me.

So many different scenarios to a slow play that no one explanation would cover all situations. But making your opponet think he has the better hand thru your actions is key to the success of any slowplay.

Quoting just because. :D

Here's a spot where a rare slowplay worked for me, although it was a no-brainer:

Down to 3 in a low-limit SNG, and I pick up AA on the button. BB has shoved a lot so I limp and the SB completes. BB shoves, I call, SB folds and AA holds.

It could have been a disaster if the BB checked behind pre, but I was hoping one of them would shove and it worked out. I had rarely limped up to that point so he probably should have been suspicious.

I play only micro stakes but typically I will induce a bluff by raising a very small amount to appear weak and often checking the turn which almost always draws a massive bet.

note the 'rarely worked'
I have the same experience in general...my monster hands get no calls, bluffs etc, just seems like the villains always hit gold.

for example, I had jj....flop is jjq...sweet! I make a small bet, the turn is K, I make a small bet...they reraise, woo hoo, I put them on a str.

allin by the river, they had KK

happens way too often, whaddya do.
maybe they fold the kk if I allin the flop, maybe not...but slowplay traps only me it seems.

buy my soon to be released book "how to lose with aces!"

In "The Theory of poker" by David Sklansky mentions when to slowplay a hand.

1. You must have a very strong hand.

2. The free card or cheap card you are allowing other players to get must have good possibilities of making them a second best hand.

3. That same free card must have little chance of making someone a better hand than yours or even giving that person a draw to a better hand than yours on the next round with sufficient odds to justify a call.

4. You must be sure you will drive other players out by showing aggression, but you have a good chance of winning a big pot if you don’t.

5. The pot must not yet be very large.
