Hey, example:

PokerStars - $4.10+$0.40|10/20 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 73.5 BB
BTN: 70.5 BB
SB: 86.5 BB
BB: 73.5 BB
UTG: 106 BB
UTG+1: 69.5 BB
Hero (UTG+2): 71.5 BB
MP: 53 BB
MP+1: 71 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q K

fold, fold, Hero calls 1 BB, MP raises to 3 BB, MP+1 calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (12.5 BB, 4 players) 3 T 9
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets 6 BB, MP+1 calls 6 BB, BB calls 6 BB, fold

Turn: (30.5 BB, 3 players) 9
BB checks, MP checks, MP+1 checks

River: (30.5 BB, 3 players) Q
BB checks, MP checks, MP+1 checks

BB shows 2 3 (Two Pair, Nines and Threes) (Pre 30%, Flop 20%, Turn 5%)
MP shows A T (Two Pair, Tens and Nines) (Pre 50%, Flop 70%, Turn 85%)
MP+1 mucks K T (Two Pair, Tens and Nines) (Pre 19%, Flop 10%, Turn 11%)
MP wins 30.5 BB

How should I play such cards preflop? Was it okay to fold? Cause I neeeded the Jack to win big. Or was the propability after this flop high enough to hit the straight? How would you have played these cards?

Thanks!

You shouldn't.

Is this really a limp/call oop? There is rarely a situation to play KQo in ep at fr. I'd study opening ranges. This kind of put you in a poor spot where I think your implied odds allows you to call the 1/2 pot otf with your gutshot. So imo, fold pre. Check/call (small bet otf). Fold turn.

This is early in a tournament, hands like this should be mucked.

If you really do wish to play them (which I dont) then at the very least raise it, don't limp/call.

As played, I'd call the flop as you have outs + are getting good odds to call. 4/1 I think? Can't make out pot/odds but yeah once you have a ton of callers, you're getting to good a price to fold in this spot.
