Was doing good tonight on Bovada had held in top 10 most of tourney until I messed it up.Was against an aggressive player that was utg in seat 3. He had called a 12x bb raise,by an all in player.I had pocket Q's and called but was trying to get a side pot going after the flop, incase the all in player had me beat with half of my chips. .So I pushed after the flop with the rest of my chips. he called any way .If i had tried to check it down after the flop,he would of bet the flop or the turn. I Hope no one says I should of folded it , what should of I done different?Been having luck like this on bovada for sometime.

Apparently you lost the pot? What was the flop and what did the aggressive player have? What was his chip stack compared to yours pre-flop after he called he all-in but before your action? I agree with the previous poster, if your call of the all in was already half your chip stack you should have shoved all in pre-flop.

UTG checks
ME utg5 push all in 4468
UTG calls 4468

TURN 10h 2c 9h 9c
RIVER 10h 2c 9h 9c Ks

UTG showdown 9h 9c 9d Ad Ks trips
UTG3 showdown Ks Kh 9h 9c As two pair
ME utg5 showdown Qs Qc 9h 9c Ks two pair

It is better to shove preflop than getting beaten like that... and also when u shove preflop with good stack , no matter how aggro one is , he will think twice beofore calling it if it takes 50% or more of his stacks to call

I woulda shoved and hope your hand held up and plus put the guy thru the grinder ,but on bovada they always seem to call and win.

Shove pre-flop. If a player is extremely aggressive, then I wouldn't play speculative hands if I have to act before him. Oh and definitely don't fold the Queens in that situation!

Wow. so many people say shove preflop, yet with QQ i's want some reassurance that no A-K came up on flop.

It is hard to fold QQ, and I probably would have shoved in at the flop myself, but I'd also like to point out that against 2 or more all-ins there is the odds that someone will suck out with some strange obscure hand.

This OP called after an all-in had been met by a chip leader. This means that you were risking your stack against 2 all-ins as the Villain was not likely to fold after he bet almost half his pot preflop.

Yeah. All in Preflop. Maybe he woulda folded his King Rag to you, but felt both pot committed and a desire to keep you honest after the flop.
