Of course it would be better if they are suited. And depending on how you assess the flop outs and pot odds look how to play on.

You should be cautious in playing those hands.

Those are not great starting hands.

I find it a difficult hand suited or otherwise. If you call a 3-4 x bb and a k or Q hit the flop you have no idea where you stand because an ace is more than likely followed by either card by your oponent.
Suited has a slightly better chance if the flop is favourable, but still no guarantee.
Best chance I found for this hand is the flop gives both cards.
It's a pretty looking hand, the same as QJ, but both can lead you into trouble.

KQs play depends on position.

If you are out of position try to limp and on later streets throw in a feeler bet just to ensure your hand is already not beat, else you'd be drawing dead.

If you are in position, rely on c-bet to weed out weaker hand like Ace-rag especially when you're drawing for flush.

It is a lot harder than it is mentioned above, use your discretion.

A9o, A8o, A7o, A6o are pretty much prayer cards where you need very strong prayers on all 4 streets hoping nobody has an Ace "AND" nobody has a stronger kicker than you.

A5 and below, you're pretty much drawing for straight or straight flush(rare)

There's no single, simple, formulaic way to play these hands in all situations. Various factors can impact your decision; e.g. position, any action before you, the opponents' styles, your relative skill (dis)advantage, etc. And most if not all of these factors can have different weights.

KQ is easy to play
you need to have a plan
if hit K , or if hit Q
or hit a str8 draw or str8 draw with over cards.

And based on that make a plan for:
How big is the pot you are going to play with Top pair or draw or nothing.

the same reason for suited A
Suited weak A is way worse than KQ, because , it is fair weak if you hit top pair.
therefore still you need to have a plan, how big the pot you are going to play when hit a made hand. or air.
