so when i have a good read on a player and i put him on a flush draw and i hit the flop is it okay to just go all-in and punish him if he wants to draw

for isntance i got KQ and by the way my oponent plays the flop i put him on a flsuh draw
and the flop is K of hearts 8 of hearts and 6 of diamonds

i still lost this one since he calld and got there at the turn but in this situation i have the upper hand vs a flush draw right?

You never know it , villain have flush draw or no , here it is necessary to look at the board ( wet or dry ) , size stack and how many players in pot. depends on the size of your bets..
This is the approximate sizing bets ( dry board like A72, AJ6, wet board AJQ , 89J, 569..) if you have pair or two pairs:

If in pot one player , board dry with FD you need bet 30% of the pot, if wet around 60-70% of the pot.

If in pot 2 player , board dry with FD bet pot , if wet board bet 50% of the pot.. ( most of the time if wet board better bet not much, )

If in pot many players , board dry with FD bet 40% of the pot, if wet 30% of the pot... ( in wet board you can also play check/call )

If you size stack less 14bb , better shove in flop,,,

These are examples bet sizing all approximately ( only flop ) , I did not consider the style of the player ( LAG tight , passive etc ) and your position..

This information is for thinking , I think it will help you , all situations, it is impossible to describe..

If you put them on a flush draw (and were correct), then it seems like a good move to put them to the test. However, you have to know if they're willing to gamble or not. For situations like this for me, I'd only shove if I still had at least 15 big blinds if they did end up hitting. You don't want to risk your tournament life on someone who is willing to gamble. The loss hurts THAT much more

Nice job with your reads . One thing I will say is trust your reads and go with it .
Now with the all in shove some players you might want to do that others you may only have to kill their pot odds to take it or make them pay . Your in the micros and some wont fold at all .
Know your risks and what may happen . with your reads your only as good as it is with the board at that point and you still have 2 cards to come . Be able to lay down your hand at any time if the other player hits when you have a good read on them . one of the hardest thing to not do is to keep from paying him off when he makes his hand . Its always nice when they pay you off :)
Yes you can put players on hands and as long as you work at you can do it and get better at it , if you dont work at it you cant do it . I know they teach not to and to just put a player on a range, only because it is easier and the student doesnt get flustered with it .
There are many players that can do this and do ti all the time.

Keep Working on it and Good Skill at the Tabes

you need to raise rates all the time and hope that the opponent will not leave outs on the board ...
