Hi all,
I was in a cardschat tourney tonight and was wanting to know how I should of played his hand.I was afraid to slow play it after the Raise by BB.
Thanks all
well i got a screen shot but couldnt down load itI can't see what you are trying to post Play.
you need to fold pre...obviously he has a suited hand the way he opens pre and its always going to have like 70% equity vs us preflop just from the suitedness a lone. I can't describe the need for suits to be the same

This just makes zero sense. If you fold pre then you dont flop trips creating a possible paradox and this thread never being created. ****ing duh.
You know, I did not consider the chance of a thread being created from the hand...that makes me lean towards calling even more actually
But to address Marginal's point, I also didn't notice that we have two chances of flopping a flush. Imagine 2 flushes for a hand? I'm pretty sure that beats a royal flush so our implied odds have to be huge

If we change our mind and dont call then quickly change our mind again and call, then the flop will have changed and we might flop trips and he flops not trips.
The only problem is our chance of flopping a royal flush is reduced to close to 0%
Yeah but if we do hit a royal flush we will win the hand like most of the time, or we can bluff.
You are right but what is the optimal time to wait before calling to ensure we flop triplets?
Ya itmakes a ton of sense to bluff the royal, he would give us respect 100% of the time.
I dont think theres an exact time. Best is to go to click it as normal and then stop for a second and youve got more chance of hitting trips.
They are calling stations tho and he might think he has equity or doesnt know that a royal is the best hand and he cant beat it.
Ok Ill try that, I usually wait 4.3 seconds but I havent hit very many trips recently so I think its worth a shot waiting a bit longer.
Any other things I should know about increasing my chance of hitting trips other than holding 3 of the same card?
Yea I agree fully. I think we get him to fold cause he never has better.
