I'm sure y'all can point out if this was badly played or not?

Truthfully, I put the guy on a smaller set. Then I tried to represent the flush. Bad Play?

Calling with a horrible hand on the button is a mistake. Raise or fold.

You should have just went ahead and got your money in on the flop or the turn when he raised your bets.

When the 4th club hits the board on the river and he goes all-in what does he ever have here that you beat?

BTW, you had trips (one card in hand with pair on board) not a set (pocket pair in hand with one on board). Terminology mainly but there is a huge difference in the strength of the hand.

^^^ What he said.

Q/6 is a trouble hand, so either raise to steal the blinds or muck it. You get into trouble by letting people play random cards for cheap, as they can hit some weird stuff.

Cool, thanks. I'll be more carefull with trips. As for junk hands on the button - I'll fold them since raising usually gets a call.

As far as after the flop you played the hand well. One problem is people get very attached to AA, another is you will never be able to shove people off semi-good hands at such low stakes. Just try and stay away from Q-6 and the like at all times unless ur trying to steal.
