Hello so last night I played in the cards chat tournament. I normally struggle when I have QJ I get scared how to play it because it looks like a good card to play with in all honesty it's the worst. I never know what to do with this card and I just try and bluff because I think it's good when it's really not and this is the card that will usually gets me kicked out of tournaments. Is this card a fold or do you guys think it's worth a play.

It all depends what position im in wether i play qj in early position instant fold, middle position i like to limp in unlesss there is a raise then a fold and in late postion it would be a raise if no one raises before hand but fold if i dont hit the flop, if im in the big blind i will call a small raise to defend my big blind

I do not think so! QJ good card in most cases, all depends on the number of players involved in the pot, your position on how your opponents play, bet the size of the bank and so on. Often this hand we can play very well, especially if QJ suited

It depends on position. For me it's good hand to defend blinds, or to steal blinds from BTN if everyone folded. Anyway i'd rather fold this hand :p

Position, relative chip stack (BBs and M), suited, non-suited, all come in to play for me. MP or late, I may opt to just call. If I play it early then I raise. If it feels like it's going to sting or hurt a little bit to raise, then this clearly means my BB and/or M number is too low to play this hand (or any other non-premium hand) out of position.

I do not think it's bad cards, the way you play the hand and the position has a lot to do.

QJ and KJ costs new players a lot of money. Most of the time it is just good to put them in the muck. Only late in a tournament when the blinds and antes are large do I loosen up enough to start raising these hands. Usually better to stay away from marginal hands.

QJ is a hand that's often dominated when you get raised but it's not a bad hand to raise from late position. QJ suited is a nice hand when you are deep stacked.

I really only play QJ from late position or defending my big blind. This hand can get you in a lot of trouble and can make for some really tough decisions post flop. In my opinion there are just way too many hands that have you beat, or even worse have you crushed so I rather just throw it away to most resistance and live to fight another day.

QJs is a favorite hand of mine. I tend to pick up two pair or straight and flush draws most of the time. However playing it is base on the action I'm getting at the table. If the table is occupied by tight limping players, ill raise it up preflop once I'm in position. How ever if they are more loose aggro players at the table i would limp to a 2-3x raise . So considering the various table dynamics is important when play QJ or any other hands in my opinion

I play the same QJ JT T9 98 87. But every hand depends on my stack, others stack, my position and most important the type of players that are at the table. I avoid playing these hands against loose players.

I think it depends on a lot o factors, like position and tha table you in, I dont like to play QJ in tournments because it usually doesnt give you a large pot and can become a bad beat quickly

Frankly speaking it`s good cards, particularly suited. Depending on situation you must play this cards more often when you have value on flop. I advise you play this connectors in late positions, than you can use bluff. Gl to you!:)

First loosen up your wrist. Do a few rotations and gently push your wrist back and forth with your other hand. Now pick your cards up and pitch them into the muck.
This hand is not a good hand. It doesn't even look like a good hand. I'm not even thinking of playing it unless it's suited or I got a super good read on my table. You're only playing this hand for a possible straight or maybe two pair with an unpaired board. Honestly I think you see the results of playing this hand. You should be folding just as quick as 72. Unless your super short stacked and have no choice. "Never go dead with a queen in your hand"

QJ offsuit is a bad hand. It is possible to play in late position, make only one bet, but no more.
QJ suited - these cards play well against many opponents, because the flush draw gives you the opportunity to see the turn more often if we did not get to flop a pair or better. So it is necessary to achieve multiple players in the pot.

QJ offsuit dropping by far and no regrets!QJ suited also throw in 95% of cases and this is a reasonable discount always works. With this middle pair should not go at all ever!!!!
