This is my hand that I hate the most, how do you play if blinds are small In 3rd to act, no raises yet just 2 calls. Do you call or bet. The blinds are .050 and $1

Both plays are good. 3bet to maybe shake off the A + low card vultures.. or call and hope for a set which gives you an opportunity to grow the pot to your liking.

I tighten the bet, for a hand of little value to leave the hand

There are three ways to play pocket Jacks all three of them are wrong lol.

In the scenario above depends on players to act if they are agressive and you feel someone might reraise you then you just flat. But most of the times I am reraising here you do not want to take a flop 5 or 6 ways with any big pair let alone those tricky pocket Jacks.

you have to bet because if overcards are comming and you were called preflop its a chance that you are being called also with small pairs ... so preflop you have the extra value.

Thank you, how much would you consider raising?

I like to play 3xBB initially, regardless of position - this tells me who has what (generally speaking) by the calls/raises. Then we flop. Mostly, I hope to win the flop (rainbow, not too connected, no color -OR- another hook). Almost no matter what (even if two more hooks fall), I check the flop. I want others to other tell me where they now sit in hand strength, or check down letting me see another card. The more information you glean, the better, obviously.

Still, it's called the worst hand in poker for a reason.

With a pocket pair JJ to play better against one or two opponents. So on the flop a pair of jacks must be played aggressively to weed out players. This is a difficult hand for the draw, because often there are doubts when the board comes Q, K or A. After the flop, a pair of jacks becomes a vulnerable hand. With a pair of JJ you need to understand when to fold a hand. This hand can not be played slowly, and the best option is to win the pot pre-flop or flop.

Yea pocket jacks are hard I've become the call and try and hit a set if I miss its an easy fold. But that's free roll poker if I get them in a live tourney I've had the time to watch the players at the table and learn how they play

pocket jacks

it's not hard to play pocket jacks. of course, you can be easily be beaten by qq+ but so does hands like 88 - 1010; if jacks are tough to play, how about those hands? play it strong preflop, 3bet if necessary and try to get rid of cards like kx,small Ax, then play according
to the flop. If your jacks are an overpair on a dry board then you probably have the best hand. If the board is scary or coordinated and there is multi way pot in which you have to deal with a lot of aggression then it's probably best to fold;

Most would recommend 3BB + 1BB for each person that flatted so in this case 5BB.

Me I just too lazy I hit the pot button.

I liked that video watching all these ways how to lose with JJ , thinking that you can win at the beginning haha :) . JJ , only trouble I can feel having this pocket pair , maybe I cannot play it right .... In cashgames I play it almost only for sets , anything else I lose :(

I prefer to play a pair of jacks than a pair of jacks, because after the flop I find it easier to drop the jacking pair than the pair of jacks when I'm losing

Until the flop hits the table, don't rush to place your bets. This is particularly the case for a player with pocket jacks who is in early position. Playing JJ with an average pair is their objective assessment. Call in this position if only because subsequent players may have shorter cards.
You can of course raise, but only if you realize that you are playing with tight players who can fold.

No one knows how to play JJ

if there is no raise in front of me I raise, if there is a raise then I call. Either way, I tend to lose.

Pretty much all big pocket pairs win small pots and lose big ones. I'd be looking to play very conservative. JJ shrinks a lot on the flop. If you have A K Q on the flop there is a high probability you got out flopped. With smaller boards you are at risk to sets. Straights, and flushes. It is very difficult to improve any pocket pair.

 The pair of jacks, in hand, is a difficult pair to play, whenever I play it I usually tend to lose, in itself it is a double-edged hand, whenever I play it, I try to raise it, when there is a raise I tend to re-raise it more to avoid villains with a small ace, if a flop comes out like Q 10 5 I bet pot, and I follow the bet below, I remember these days that they eliminated me for playing a pair of soft jacks, that is, for not Play it aggressively, from that day on I understood that this pair should be played aggressive even if a card comes out above it on the flop.

If you lose, don't be frustrated , understand, you did the best you could ...
