I want to know what would be your approach to these in cash games. I usaully win big with hands in MTTs but in cash games my win rate drops very low. In MTTs I bet 4BB on these hands and if I am short stack I go allin whereas in cash games I bet 2BB on these hands but usually ends up in losing side. How would you bet on these hands

it depends a lot of factors, but you now that pairs are good but not strong enough, so you need to be passive on playing that hands. in EP or MP i'd just limp and if someone raise up i fold. In LP you can raise 3-4BB (if nobody raises) to put pressure on them and wait to get a monster on the flop.

Position is very important. In early position you can limp/fold and call if someone raises in hopes to make a set, that is ofc if your opponent is willing to put enough money into the pot post-flop to make your set-mining profitable. If you miss, fold.

In late position, always raise in an un-opened pot. You might even choose to 3-bet. Post-flop c-bet. If you get called and don't improve, just check it back and give up on the river.

That is basically all there is to it about these pairs. Just remember not to overplay them. If your opponent is showing aggression don't burn your money, fold the hand.

10/10 is a mid range pair, depending my position at the table and what has gone on before me, if all fold then 3-5BB raise unless short stacked then all-in. If you call and get a re raise call, or call from all-in, then all you can do is see what transpires.

There is not an exact way to play any hand or else many people would have studied it and become masters. It depends on the blind levels, position, table dynamics (whether aggressive or passive players), stage of the tournament, your chipstack.

You have to take all things things into consideration and try and play accordingly. Sometimes you have to call, other times you will better off raising whereas there will also be spots where you have to lay them down. So adjust accordingly, you will make mistakes playing mid pairs like 1010 or JJ as it is pretty common to overplay them but try and learn from the mistakes you make and good luck.

Mid pairs are marginal hands so consider them marginal strength hands. Dont overplay them.

Whats nice with these hands is they are flexible for any play. You can just call, raise or even fold. You can bluff and semi-bluff with them. They are even good when it comes to implied odds.

At the cash tables I play on, Im limping with those all the way to the button. Only reason for that, is a raise always shows strength & if I hit a set, I dont want them putting me on Monster & sneak in with a winner.
If I get raised after limping, I will normally call unless its an over the top stupid bet for the same reason. Value.

such as pairs 77 88 99 in early position, I usually just call, hoping to catch thrips in late position and you can make a raise and respond to a large raise such a card I do not venture, except that sometimes when it allows the size of my stack

Play 7s 8s 9s the way you play any other hand you decide to hold. Just dont overestimate the power of this hand. If you see flop with middle pair like 88 and flop AK10 dont make risky bluffs. Call if bet is small, fold if you cant afford pay big. If you flop set never play like you have best hand cuz u may really dont have the best hand. What`s the point of flopping set if these 3 cards are suited.

Cash table are different from tourney. You can only raise the mid range hand on the very late position if there were only few caller preflop. If you raise it on the button you never know if other people after you have stronger hand.

With hands like these I try to play slow and easy. I try forget about big raises in preflop, if someone raises before me (2-3bb's) then just call.

In a ring game will need to be guided by estimation of expectation from deciding to play more on the pot odds and implied odds

i play tournaments and cash rarely when you are playing mid pair be careful not to become pot committed with overplaying them.
after that it depends on position eventually consider raising on late position, fold if there was huge raise before you
it depends on stack size and tournament stage too and if i am short stacked i prefer go all in no matter what stage is
it is far more to say about this....

I only call and only when the blinds are low enough. When the blinds are too high I can't afford to look at the flop, just in the hope that you hit the third one. And I play them only all in when I am running out.
