well like every hand, what is your position? If you're first to act I'd say lead out with a bet about half the pot. This will generally give you a good idea where you are at in the hand. Depending on how many players you're up against as well. If you're FTA and there are more than one players after you to go, then maybe check there, you wouldn't want to lead out into a player or players holding a strong top pair or better right cause you're obviously just going to get raised and maybe re raised. then what? Do you keep going with money already committed?? and at best just flated(called) so there is no right or wrong answer here it's all situational but as a general rule of thumb I would ultimately say if you're first to act in a multi pot, check, then in position last to act after players(s) check, bet something to make it appear as if you hit the flop so if you do get flatted and ifff and when you do hit that big boy straight, flush, or straight flush on the turn, or river, it won't necessarily appear as if you was betting on a draw. Betting a draw does help disguise it but it won't help you catch the card you fishing for!
