I have watched some videos with pro poker on shove and am increasingly convensido not to go preflop shove, but I am very insecure to play with KK, AA without going preflop shove, what do you think?

Off course you can lose to another pair, 2 pairs, straights and flushes wita that cards if you let your oponnent see turn and river. You have to know your oponnents to extract maximum number of chips you can, or fold your hand when necessary. It also depends on your stack size and position.

To extract value generally you generally should not shove pre with AA or KK against decent players. However, if you have morons at your table who will call pre shoves with a wide range you should shove.

Be sure to do a raise, or increases the probability of losing an opponent with an average or low card. The player entered the game with a weak card is able to get a good hand on the flop. When you raise it, forcing it to throw opponents weak card.

Playing the big pairs like KK and AA will come with experience over time. You can technically lose with Any hand but you also need to judge the opponents to know how to extract the maximum amount of chips. Stack Sizes and position on the table are important

I've always been amused by the guy that goes all-in pre-flop. After everyone folds, he shows A-A, and someone says "nice hand". Really? Pocket Aces and all this guy managed to pick up was 1½ blinds. It would have been a nice hand if he managed to get some value out of it.

Don't get me wrong, I love getting my chips in pre-flop with A-A. But open shoving and scaring everyone out of the pot is not the way to do it. Neither is allowing some lagtard to limp in with 6-2 "cause it's soooted" and flop two pair on you. Typically, I'm going to make my standard raise of 3x + 1x for each limper in front of me, so as not to give away the strength of my hand, and hope someone re-raises so I can make a 4-bet. If someone raises in front of me, I'm 3-betting. If they 3-bet, I'll four bet. Yeah the goal is to get all my chips in when I know I'm holding the best hand, but not until I'm sure I'm going to get a call or at least until the pot is big enough for me to be satisfied if I were to take it down right then.

Depends on my stack size and what the blinds are. If I am less than 10x BB, it is an easy shove to try and double or triple up. If my stack is 20x or more I will only raise 3x to 4x the big blind to build up a nice pot. If you know your beat after the flop or turn. Folding AA or KK is much easier when most of your chips are not at risk in the middle of the table.

Generally I will never try and shove pre-flop with AA or KK. I feel you on the insecure feeling though. I can't lie when I look at my cards and see KK, QQ or JJ I suddenly become very nervous. I really can't explain it. Maybe this will pass with time but I just can't seem to shake it.

I know that nervous feeling very well. I thought I was the only one that got that, but I guess we all do. I used to get it every time I was dealt Aces. I still do sometimes, but not as much. It's strange. You should be excited, right? But instead all I'm thinking about is my Aces getting cracked. But what are you going to do, not play them?

It depends on many things like opponents, table dynamics, stack sizes, etc.

You can either raise or slowplay with it base on factors above.

It depends on your stack, with few if BB better to go all-in, otherwise the high stakes to do without compromising your game and go on tilt.

dont think you should always shove them, with low blinds like 10bb or less maybe limp or min raise

on the other hand if you are deep maybe try a 2.5x raise

You can play it either way, depending of your opponents.
But, learn to play it postflop - you cant be uncomfortable playing two strongest hands in poker...

Do not bet is to give chance to their opponents. Should bet always 3 or 4 times the pot size.

Yes exactly.. Once I see these my mind starts racing about all the possibilities of me getting out flopped..

With AA you are roughly 80% favourite to win against 1 opponent. With KK it is roughly 75%. In both cases this is over a large number of hands.

So why would you want to shove and lose the chance to win more than the blinds.

Raise 4bb to isolate small and mid pair and pray for a showdown. The odds of winning with those are pretty high.It also depend on position and table dynamic.

Like the comment that states it depends on who you are playing, it all depends on how the other players are reacting to the game

I am like to shove all in usually when someone else 3bets before its to me.
I don't care who that player is (weak or Strong). If I have AA, then I know the player I'm up against is AK or KK. I know someone might hit a set or trips but the chance to really get value for going all in is good enough for me.

It depends on so many things like game phase, amount of pot, nature of table, your image, etc.
