Yeap like XXPXXP stated, that would all depend on your stack and where you're at in the tournament standings. It is a tricky icky spot to be as the shortest stack, but even then you still have to play the best hand in you're mind and hope for the best. Waiting on players to go out might end you up even more short stack after the bubble pops. But there is nothing better than being in the money! I say against those loose aggressive players you know at the table, either avoid playing pots with them or play hands above their range more aggressive.
Bad position to be in, you either find a good spot to shove with the best hand you think you have double up with of risk blinding/ante to the point where you're so low on chips you give other players no fold equity
If you are short stack in the bubble and you have a LAG (losse agressive) in your table, you have a great chance to double your stacking and play confortable.
You just need to find a good spot to resteal him, like he open on Late Position, and you are in the blinds or after him with any pair, Axs, broadways, just shove on him, most of time he will fold, and when he calls, probably you will be winning him, at least 60/40
You definitely can't hope to suck out by calling a weak hand. It all goes in when you get a chance to be first in and you have any kind of possible good hand
if you are the short stack just wait for your hand to push. ideally you want folds so wait until no one has opened and for you to have a decent hand. try to avoid calling without a premium hand
Yes I agree, wait for a great hand and shove if it doesn't come you may have to move all in with a less than great hand, then I would try to have good position and a few folders or limpers before shoving (no raisers).
if you value cashing for psychological reasons( or bankroll considerations ) , then patiently wait for a premium hand and shove, or , if needed , keep folding till the bubble bursts . however , if you play properly+ confidently you will have many chances to get your money in ahead . you might bust ( from ahead or behind ) but long term your EV will be higher . deep runs into the money are what touney poker is all about .
I think you should play hands against players with smaller stacks, I try to steal blinds them too. Play only monsters against players more stacks than you
