I've watched some videos on pokerstars school online and saw that in all of them once they players got into the flop with a dry (sometimes wet depending on how the opponent played pre-flop) board they made a continuation bet.

What I often do is raise pre with a decent hand then check/fold if i miss the flop. My question is, of all the time you see the flop and are the pre-flop aggressor, roughly how many % of all of your hands do you make a continuation bet?

This really, really depends on what format you're playing and table conditions. I play the low STTs and I'm CBetting 80% of the time against 1 opponent. Far, far too high, I know, but I'm successful 65% of the time. Helps that I always have a tight table image.

Also, in this format you really can't be raising pre too much then playing weakly once you miss the flop. You'll soon find yourself as the short-stack, or blinded out. Plus these are bounty tournaments, so once you get short your FE is virtually zero and you will get callers, usually multiple callers.

So, for FR cash, I'd say WVH is about right, but be aware that this number should vary depending upom the game type/ table conditions you are playing.

It's much more important to look at c-betting in a particular situation than at an overall %. For example, against opponents who fold easily, you can and should c-bet more often, which means doing so on wetter boards than you would against other players such as calling stations.

More this, there isn't an optimal % and it will probably get lower the higher up you go as your opponents will get better. It also depends on your range and their range. If you are a 10/9 at FR 2nl, then c-betting 80% would probably be too little for example.

I play a lot of MTTs and I would say I cbet 85% of the time, but it really depends on the situation. I like being known for betting....pays off when you have the nuts and I'm tighter then I appear. This all being said it honestly really depends on the situation the player the position the flop and so on. You best bet if I raise pre wth 99s and flop comes QKA with flush possability Im checking or folding 99% of the time

Definitely this. Everyone's mileage will vary but if you're steady in a particular game/stake then you are probably going to discover some percentage that will work well (with these factors in play).

I use to be an advocate of Cbetting 100% of flops regardless of the board texture in a heads up pot however i have toned my Cbet frequency down a bit since i first started taking the game seriously. Whether to Cbet or not to Cbet depends on the board texture, the player type, your table image, and the strength of your hand. My Cbetting from out of position is almost 100% while in position its around 70-80% i am sure you can figure out the rationale behind that.

depends on my loothness at the table If I am very couscious I will make CBET every flop without a pair, flush or an ace on the flop Beeing very agrssive before the flop I will make CBET only in position or if the blinds are more/equal to 10:mad: % of my stack

Going to be very table dependent but out of total curiousity I checked my HEM stats over roughly 1 million FR hands and it was just under 60%. Ranges from 10NL up to 400NL with the vast majority of those hands being at 100NL

If you raise pre flop, then feel that because of that, you must cbet the flop, no matter what the board texture is, its exploitable. If you raise pre then cbet only when you hit top pair or better, its exploitable.
Cbetting is very situatuional and some days, you will cbet 80% of flops because the conditions suit that. The next day, you might only cbet 50% of the time because the whole table dynamic is different.
Add to that your player type and everything changes again. So dont get too hung up about cbetting.

Here is a rule of thumb I read somewhere, don't recall where.
Get a small clock / watch next to your PC, check the second hand, if it is between 00 -30, then C-bet. Between 30 -00, check. If you do something like this, it keeps anyone from getting trends on you.
This also depends on the table also. If you see someone will bet if you don't, and you hit your hand, let them be the aggressor and take their chips. If you think they will fold, bet. If you don't have a read on your opponent, follow the above option.

Not that specifically, but Harrington had a tip of using your clock/watch in live games to do some other stuff (not c-betting) - his was a 10% deal - picking 6 minutes out of the hour to deviate from his norm.

Yeah, this general idea is from Harrington. As Grampy has it stated, though, that should only give you 50% C-bet, long-term. Most everyone feels this should be at least somewhat higher, so you may want to pick different numbers; something like 00-40 = CBet and 40-00 check might be a little better. But, really, my CBetting is extremely table-dependant. Sometimes I'm CBetting nearly 100%; other times only 60% or so.
