How often do you 3-bet pre flop in cash,
and how often do you 3-bet pre in an mtt.

Lets put into account the blind structures so as the tournament progresses how does your 3-bet ratio tend to go

and lets say in cash do you always 3-bet or does it depend on the table for you.

I'm more inclined to play lower variance in cash 3-bet my really strong hands and occasional speculative IP,

in small tournaments my aggression factor is high 'so makes it harder for me to steal from middle to late, I need to raise more early and tighten up in order to 3-bet more frequently which is kind of annoying if im up against players who will just 3-bet shove all in on me since they know I am capable of opening alot of hands and even 3-betting wide. Like even if I've been playing tight on other tables upto then.
So its kind of like mixing up frequency at every game.

But yeh I was just wondering whether you guys do this? or do you stick to rules for 3-betting, like hand ranges a percentage (for example) 2 out of 10 hands, or 24% in position and premiums out of position and so forth. Or even any other factors to determine how often your 3-betting pre
.
Cheers in advance :)

Normally I only do that when I have a monster hand (like KK or AA) to make other opponents to quit the hand and left just one opponent for me.

these are my stats for full ring 2 and 4NL
VPIP: 14% PFR: 9% Aggression Factor:1.83

i have big troubles adjusting my range and aggression, i played more loose and more passive preflop i have been somewhere in vpip 20% and not sure for the pfr but it think it was >5%

3 and 4 bets imho really depends on table dynamics, if you have opponents that 3-bet small you might have bigger vs 3-bet call or bigger 4-bet

the way you (OP) 3-bet is imo the best way to play in the limits i play, i tend to loose little more prefop wit 3-bets because the field at PKR is really loose and call a lot this way i get a lot of value with my hands but i also lose some money playing that way, i might consider adjusting it a little bit...

I just checked my tournament stats and i saw the major leak in my play the less BB i have left in my stack (or when the blinds get bigger) im tightening to much and my vpip and pfr drops down instead of raising... gotta take a better look at those tourney stats work on that... Thank you for the tread i wouldn't noticed that if there wasn't this tread

In tourneys try to pick on the medium-stackers when 3 betting light. Be very careful agains the fishy big-stackers.

In cash, mix it up. 3 bet light vs. villains with high steal% and high fold to 3 bet%. Also, if you threebet light and get called, know when you're likely beat. Don't 3 barrel bluff like an idiot and get mad when you get called down. If villain called your 3bet pre, and called your cbet, he's probably not folding.

It is ok to showdown a light 3- bet hand, provided you don't lose many coins to set villain(s) up.

You gotta keep them guessing. Utilize your position.

I play barely any tournaments so won't comment there. But in cash I 3bet around 9% in 6max. Obv all big hands from any position and as for marginal hands a lot from SB/BB vs btn open, and a lot from BTN vs MP/CO opens

Tournaments it is villain & stack size (effective) dependant.

I'm very much image dependant always adjusting to the tempo and how i've been playing will define my 3-bet / raise / stealing ratio.

One thing I do need to know if anyone can kindly tell me, will my Stats show up on villain huds specificly to that game im in or will it be a HUD % of every game i've played this month etc and an overall figure for this
