As every other beginner the only $ amount that catches my eye is the thousands, and like many others, the lower amounts bore me. But I know how important bank roll management is, so without being greedy, with a $100 bank roll start, how much rake per day should i be pleased with? And when should i stop playing?

Now I played aggressively my first time, turned $100 to $240 and lost it all in 5 hours. Now I know $140 every 3 hours isn't what I should be going for and expecting, what should I be? Thanks!

You should be pleased with not how much rake you accomodate per day, but how much you average profit per day.
When you should stop playing - if you are sticking to bankroll management, stop only when you think it's the best or when you are too tired to play.

playing zoom/rush poker will earn you tons though

I think you may be confused on what rake actually is. It's the amount of money from each pot that sees a flop that the client/casino takes for itself. I'm not sure exactly what the amounts are, but I remember hearing something like it's 5% of the pot up to $3 at most places. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around there.

As to when you should stop playing I would say as soon as the fish/weak player(s) at the table lose all their money and stop re-buying. Or when the amount of your stack represents a significant percentage of your entire bankroll. You may also want to leave if you feel you aren't playing your best game or feel that you're starting to tilt.

What's the max buyin for those live games ? 2/4 makes me think 400. And if you're buying in for 100, honestly I would automatically label you as a weak player.

Also You having only 25% of my stack. What am I risking against you? You're not pushing me off of anything nor am I risking a lot being in a hand to begin with.

This whole reply is based on my assumptions. If they are wrong, my bad.
Table image is big live and I think initial buyin stack speaks volumes.

Is this in the right thread?

Having trouble connecting it with any of the other posts.

With a 100.00 dollar bankroll the last thing I'm thinking about is the rake, or how much rake I'm going to earn. I'm looking first at bankroll management and what games I'm going to play consistent with the bankroll strategy I am going to follow with that bankroll.
