How much physical pain can you endure before your game is shot?

This is something I took for granted as a younger player and never really considered until recently. I tweaked my shoulder and my pain level was about a 7 out of 10. My poker game was shot and I have been sitting out for about a week. How much pain can you endure and still find your "A" game?

I never start a game if I feel tired, in pain, or just not in the mood. What is the point of turning the game into hard labor.

Situational I guess I agree with the last response however would the poster say the same if they had sattelited into a big game and felt less than 100%

As you can't always choose when the game is especially live I would say you have to always be ready to play but don't like playing if not 100% myself so understand the response
