Many times we ask ourselves what we call studying with respect to poker .. do you think that watching poker videos is studying? ... I see it as a good idea but not everyone has the same luck or the same strategy or at the moment of leaving the flop the same cards ..
In my case, I think that seeing them helps us to see the way in which the hand is developed, to see if it helps us when we find ourselves in a similar situation.
What do you think?

I think the basic rules can also be read, since watching tournaments that go live will not help you how to play online, or vice versa, so it's better to read and practice. But for a change, sometimes it's worth watching the video, suddenly something interesting will be found.

I think it helps a little! because the fact of being live, it becomes a show, and that's all, so do not apply what you see there! the only thing I think is worth learning is to have patience and hulmidade to drop your cards!

Is watching a video your only way to study? It is one tool that can be used, but you must remember, you will need many tools in your toolbox to build a house.

not much, poker videos fill your mind with fantasy because you only see the best moves, but they do not help you improve your game, for example the importance of playing with position, it is advisable watch videos of poker tutorials

I think watching youtube videos of high stakes poker is beneficial especially when Mike Sexton is the commentator.

Yes it can be a great learning tool. But make sure its for the same stakes you're playing at.Trying to use mid -high stakes techniques at micros can be disastorous to your bankroll

Watching educational videos help me learn why they play the way they play, especially why they bet/raise/fold to certain plays by villain. Vlogs have helped as well, while also entertaining the live action on the felt.

Everyone learns differently. You just gotta find out what works best for you....

Personally I learn from studying my own hands, then comparing them to how others played in the same situations. If that means watching a video, reading an article, posting about it in a forum, or even asking a pro. If I don't know, I ask, simple as that. The trick is to find out "exactly" what your asking about. Cause poker is a detailed game. You gotta be very specific when trying to analyse. Thus you need to be very specific when asking for advice, cause lets be honest. The basics only get you so far. Why do you think there are poker pro that offer you "the basics" for free, then charge you an arm and a legs for "in-depth Training"?

I think it gives you a good perspective of situations that do take place in a poker game and it makes you think about actions more.

Poker videos are pretty bad, because you only see the good moves like bluffs and stuffs. I suggest to everybody to take the beginner courses and than watch some of the pros stream on twitch. I would suggest to follow Fintan (easywithaces) and Spraggy.

There are many different ways you can improve your game, so don't limit yourself to only one or two. Usually, I read interesting articles. Sometimes I watch training videos. I regularly read books. If I have more time, I watching streams.

It depends on what kind of videos you are watching, you can find a lot of good information which explain how to make a good play or what strategy you must use, they teach you about odds, pot odds and other useful things to play poker.
What I want to say is that it is up to you which videos to watch and which ones you should avoid.

The only way to get better is with experience. Watching others can help, but until you're caught in that situation and what you do is how you get better.

It increases your range of motion, but the ideal is like breathing for me, you inhale that kind of information and then you exhale into the field, inspiring some sort of strategy for your style and expiring in your experience; and it would not just be a binary thought, but a better synthesis for you, like a respiratory filter, and so with a database in its self-analysis and dynamic reflections.

Watching poker videos analyzing hands can be helpful but I find they are usually high stakes hands against very good opponents so the same lines don't really apply in the games I play. I think it can lead to fancy play syndrome.

Now poker training videos can be very helpful but you will still need and take the concepts presented and study it after watching.

I find looking at hands I have played and analyzing my ranges and my opponents range has really helped me with my studying.
