How many videos do you watch per day or month on training sites?
Hello , recently i bought a monthly subscription on some training sites , mostly it was out of curiousity , i think i already knew a ton of stuff about poker so most of the content isnt new to me but still well its good to see some things in practise , also i learn one or two things but despite that i think my investment wasnt really the best , it was about 30$ and i think i could give those on a more helpfull books , its also a problem that i dont understand english when i hear them so much compared to when i read them so i can process information much easier with a book rather than a video.
Nevertheless i want to make as much as i can out of these 30$ during my monthy subscription.
From my experience so far , there are some videos who touch some concepts but most of them and particulary the most interesting ones for me are those reviews or sessions who mostly are boring but you can see some interesting hands in action and thats nice.
The problem so far with videos is that if you want to find a quick answer on a subject , lets say for example *double barreling on 3-bet pots* , its not an
easy thing to do and you have to jump through a lot of useless information to get to it and thats why i prefer books much more. I think after a video or two i get sleepy because im not really interested on all the useless stuff that i already know.
Anyway Im curious about those of you who use training sites and videos as your primary tool for learning , how many videos do you see per day? how are you going about it? do you pick a coach who you like and see all his material and then ignore it? what would you advice me to do now that i already gave those 30$? you know im in a mood that well most of them dont help me very much but im gonna waste x time to see some of them just to make use of the sites somehow , i want to see how much time is just enough
to waste on those sites just to see sessions or reviews.
