Still new to PLO so please forgive me. Doesn't that other guy have a A high flush?

I always thought PLO was like holdem, except you get 4 starting cards and can pick any 2 of them

I guess the rule is you must use exactly 2 cards from your hand and 3 from the board?

By that logic, it's impossible to make a flush in PLO without having 2 cards of the same suit in your hand?

Correct, you're the only one with a flush.

Yeh i'd be confused with this too. I think in PLO it's the best TWO cards from your hand. The other guy only has one card towards the flush. I could be wrong though.

Omaha Hi/Lo is even more insane thanks to the forced 2 cards from a pocket of 4.

A good way to wrap your head around the change from HE is looking at hands starting with any 2 cards from your pocket and finding 3 on the board to make a hand.

I wish you good fortune! This is a very challenging transition.

Yeah, you are only one who have flush there. Also for straight .. You cant won hand with A 3 2 9 and board is 6 7 8 10 K for example. You can have here A 3 6 9 .. thats okay :) Or for full house Board: 2 3 3 Q Q and you have A K Q 7 and your opponent have 2 2 5 8, you here just have a three of a kind :)

I wonder if the other guy is somewhere on a forum right now creating a thread called "How Did I Lose?!?!"

And that is exactly why in Omaha or O8 there's actually a lot of dead money or maybe I should call it give-away money (and also in Razz and 2-7 for example) at the lowest stakes.
Players who have no clue what they're actually holding and/or who don't even know the rules.
