I have a problem, I am a beginning player and I like to play cash games but I don't have a lot of money so I just play low blinds.
When i play I usually double my starting amount. I do this by bluffing a lot, I just continue even when i have 7/2 unsuited. I win around 75% of every hand I have but when I finally hit something with high cards and I play heads-up till the end I almost always lose. I win around 20% of those rounds and because the betting gets way more intense in those rounds I can never hold on to the profit i make by bluffing.
Could somebody maybe help me, by explaining how to recognise if I can win when I hit something so I won't get blinded when I see my double pair.

Rule of thumb: Dont bluff a lot at lower/lowest stake.

So many fishes there swimming they cant understand or relate to good and reasonable bluffs.

Play your best poker. There is a greater percentage of players who lose at poker than those who win according to statistics. The percentage of losing players is very high. There is no clear answer to your question. Try and learn your way through the site, read about bankroll management. Good luck.

You are losing heads-up because u bluff too much. Bluffing is a huge part of playing heads-up and almost everyone knows this. Thus your bluffs are more likely to getting called. Dont play heads-up at all or learn about heads-up strategy.

I'd have to agree with above. Maybe play a bit tighter at lower stakes, it all depends. People usually arent sitting at the same tables for 2+ hours in lower stakes so its a revolving door. Just gotta play tight and wait for your spots. Use your INSTINCT though, seems like you bluff in good spots for profits, if you feel you can continually put it off at the table, just watch out for those hero calls.

From reading what you posted. If everything is accurate, you should stay away from premium hands, and continue bluffing. If you are seeing a 75% win ratio when you bluff, why change anything.
