This is a discussion on How to guess your opponent's hand !? within the online poker forums, in the Learning Poker section; How to guess your opponent's hand !? When you think your own cards are good enough :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
I don't really understand the question but if you think your cards are the winning cards on the river then you need to bet enough that your opponent will call.... look at the board and think what two cards have a made hand here that I can beat then think if you had those two cards what amount of money would you call.... then bet that amount
Hi, you have to be very attentive at the table, observe how each one plays, the first thing is to classify what type of rival he is, and well then you have to see how preflop played in the move that you are doubting, you have to have an approximate range of How would he play, see the board, must be observed and write down friend
I do not think you can guess what your opponent's cards are, I think that according to their way of betting and seeing as you get to the turn and the river, you can more or less calculate what type of cards you could have. But guess what it has I think it would be something impossible to do.
If I knew how to guess my opponents hand then I would be winning a heck of a lot more poker hands than I am now. If I knew how to that then after trying poker I think I then move on to trying to guess the winning numbers on the lottery.
The best way to guess what the villain has is to use all the information that you have and remove holdings that do not fit the picture. First, we should start with what type of player the villain is, loose, tight, etc. We can then factor in what position on the table they are playing from in the given hand and also count what has happened in front of them. Then as each street comes bringing new information in the form of the cards on the board we can narrow down and remove holding based on their actions and reactions to others actions. Rarely will we ever be able to get them on their exact cards but we usually should be able to narrow it down to fairly close range by the river. Sometimes we will be way off but what else can you do other than use the information that you have and see and decipher it the best you can.
