Im pretty curious about this because I typically will only play tournaments .. I have played several cash games don't get my wrong , but I either do great or really really bad . I just don't know if its my playing or what but I would love suggestions on how others play..:D

Yeah I tend to play aggressively and tight but I have my moments of weakness where I just play loosely and allow the table to control me.

After you play tight and aggressive in the beginning and win like a couple of buyins try changing tables before you get to that stage of playing loose and allowing the table to control you. Have a fresh start - that way you might atleast cut your losses in the long run or even end up with a healthier profit.

I know what i am saying is actually "hit n run" and some people might say it is unethical but i think it is fine to do it online as there is always a new player around sooner rather than later to take up your place (sites that have good traffic) but would not suggest to do it live as it is not good to get up and leave as soon as you won a big pot. :saint::eek:

Play in accordance to your opponents, if your table is loose, play tight. If your table is tight, then play loose. How you play isn't as big of a concern as how your opponents play.

Tight but exploitive....

I also will fold in any marginal situation while out of position bc in the game I play people use position pretty well for live players.

You wanna be tight, but not so tight that the regs can just muck every time you raise or Cbet or whatever. It is a fine line.

Just stay away from a lot of raised pots out of position....I see newer players constantly getting into those situations with hands like KJ/J10KQ/QJ/QJ...etc. and its a recipe for disaster eventually.

Well for 6 mac I try to 3bet pretty wide. Steal a lot and play nearly always in position.

Fold to a lot of raises post flop. Always know what type of player your opponent is.

I can see all the different approaches. I played tight semi aggressive last night and won 80 percent of my hands which isn't to bad considering that I am more of a tournament player then a cash game player even though I am really starting to like these cash games!
