It's so frustrating and discouraging! I usually play like i had a big Ace and continue to fire.

Isn't that a million dollar question? :D

I guess that it is a highly dependant on the various factors, action preflop, board texture, wet, dry etc, opponents and more...

I dont like the situation either...

Total depends on the opponent and your image. If you've been playing tight, I'd fire at the flop and see what opp does if opp is lag. However, if opp is tight as well, I'd check and see what he does. If he checks, I'd fire on turn if there's nothing scary out there.

I agree with you. Check on flop if ace on flop.
Before flop give a rearaise to opponents raise.

I suppose I already shove pre floop, so I will keep my betting strategy and see the reaction from the players, if someone re rise, then as much as it hearts is a Fold! :ridinghor

first of all I do cont-bet then chek-chek if my opponent(s) calls.
But it will be better to go all in before the flop to make someone with AQ,AJ,AT fold.

Why do you want A10+ to fold when you have KK?

And do you think shoving preflop is going to get you the max value for your hand if you have 50+ BBs? I can understand if you have only 10 BBs, it's an easy shove.

As for OP, against 1 opponent, just c-bet the flop and you'll likely pick it up most of the time. If they call, you can re-evaluate the turn and possibly check-call small river bets.

Against multiple opponents, I think c-betting is still good as you will pick up the pot sometimes, but against a call or multiple callers, or if you face a 3bet on the flop, you're probably going to have let it go. Sucks, but that's how it is sometimes.

If anything, don't automatically be discouraged every time an ace hits the flop because it doesn't automatically mean your opponent is holding one.

It's so frustrating and discouraging! I usually play like i had a big Ace and continue to fire.

Since I play usually preflop with KK agressive, I try show on flop to my opponent, that I have Ace. In case when he call my bet on flop, I play more savefully. When I have more than 1 opponent on flop I start play careful immediately.

Very good question. The situation depends on the actions what have been done preflop. In case if my agrressive raise was only called I play agressive showing AK in my hand.

If I am the aggressor pre I will cbet the flop.

If I OR and was 3bet, I would call the 3bet. On the flop I would then check call. IF villain bets on the turn after I check again and he is a tight player, I would fold, if he was loose passive and just min betting or less than half the pot I would call again.

I wouldn't shove pre because I want an opponent to fold marginal hands, that's just stupid. Obviously if you have 10-15 bbs then the shove is for the right reason.

Just raise enough pre-flop, or re- raise enough. the other thing is(pokerstars) 90% off the time yiu will see an ace on the flop/

Difficult one
