DO NOT
bluff, semi bluff all draws much smaller and when you make a decent hand, a hand that you believe to be much better than his range or one where he is drawing then smash in the bets i mean like 70-200% of the pot! ye son the turn you can certainly over bet! Example:
you have TT flop comes JT2 two diamonds you (was playing lets say to make things easu .50/$1) pre flop you raise to $6 he calls from BB, SB folded so pot is $13
flop you bet $10 they calls turn is a brick a black 4. The fish has likely got a whole bunch of hands they are not folding:
AJ,KJ,QJ,JT,J9,J8,AT,KT,QT,T9,T8,T7,AK,AQ,KQ,K9,T9,Q9,78 (all suited and unsuited) if they are a fish they struggle to fold 90% of those hands...
Now throw in the fact that if they are really bad they may still be looking to call 55/66/77/88/99...
Also they have so many AX KX QX and suited connector flush draws...
So along with you having a really nutty looking hand on the turn it is also vulnerable to a bad river card but at the same table it is a hand you can really get max value from so with the pot on the turn beind $33 you can safely go ahead and bet $30-$65 if they fold not the worst you may fold out some of his good
equity (obviously want a call) if they call you have charged them a terrible price to draw if the draw comes in youre in position and if they lead you can decide what you want to do... if it bricks off usually the pot is big enough for you to get the rest of their money!!
