you can do this:

If it's cash game
put a limit of hands and when you reach the limit of hands end the session you win or you lose or can take a limit of time for example 3hours per session.

if it's tournaments
You can play a limited number of daily tournaments.

hope it can help you

Poker is a sequence so the ups and downs are natural. Try to watch from a different angle your bankrolls's "bahavior", to see how it is changing.

As concern MTT, and if you play on several sites, should we split and play with 150 buy-in on each sites ? or 150 on all sites regrouped??

For me is playing less games. But this is usually a shot on the foot, because the less I play, the less I loss, but the less I earn and the less I learn (lol, it rhymed).

Other people might offer better advice than mine.

If you play cash game with a small BR I'd suggest you having a time/hands limit if you're losing and keep playing if you're winning and when you start to lose or you feel not good anymore, leave.

I will only play up to 5 percent of my bankroll. so, I usually am fine with that formula...

Simple.

1) I do not deposit.
So if I lose all my BR, I start from zero with freerolls.
2) I play to learn not to earn, so I play minimal buyins.

I am fairly new to poker as well. Up to this point I have been able to manage my bankroll with success. What I do is the maximum buy-in for a tournament or cash table is only use 1/5th or 20% of my bankroll. So if I have a $100 bankroll the maximum I will enter a tournament or cash table for is $20. That way if I don't place in the tourney or lose it all at a cash table I still have plenty left to enter another. For me this helps me prevent from losing to much. If I go on tilt at a cash table and lose it all I will just wait until the next day to play again. It helps me manage my bankroll and prevent me from going on tilt and losing my whole bankroll.

I.m finding this a little difficult as well. I only play tourneys and have been playing a $1 tourney I like but then rebuys are $2 and add ons are another $1 so you can easily be in for $6 or so to have a shot.
