However, Moneymaker and Hachem were both HU. Being HU is totally different than jumping in mutilway pots on a full table with junk.
.

Good point about Head's Up play. I did not realize in HU, it's basically 50\50 for either guy to win, assuming neither has pocket pair. I want to learn more about this. What other major differences and rules of thumb are there for HU play, as compared to playing at a table with 5-8 guys?

Weaker holdings are more valuable, 2nd pair, 3rd pair, A high.

Imho you should be much more aggressive HU. I will always raise the button, call down with ace hi etc. Also, find a site with play money games and play a lot of HU to get used to it. Good luck.

Heads Up is pretty easy to beat if you can do the right things. Staying aggressive is a key to it. No matter what you have always raise on the button. And any Ace is a monster HU. Watch a few videos on it. You cant sit back and wait to pick up hands. You will lose chips fast.

A read on you opponent, and finding the leaks from your oppenet, is the best way to beat him.

Good hands are A high on up. More aggressive is your position.

Its a completely different game. The longer you play the better, if you are the better player. You can observe the range of hands your opponent plays. I would say if you do not know your opponent play cautious for a little unless you are on premium hands and flops and still hide what you have by playing a little cautious.
