What did you start with? How did you build it cash /sng/mtt?More importantly what type of game are you strongest playing , and is that the one you take pleasure in playing ?There are many facets to take into consideration. Only you know what your goals , aspirations and joys are , follow them.

Nice chunk of change to play with... shouldn't have to deal with micro stakes at all with that money... But like most poster's are saying, "What is your pleasure? What do you excel in playing?"

So that is where that stands for now... I will be interested to hear your response.

All those missing factors aside, why would you suddenly want to alter the coarse that built said BR...why not just increase the money level of what was and has worked so far...this from a poker player that is still searching for "what works"...
good luck

This,

Stick with what's working and increase the buy in amount while still following solid BRM.

Not dealing with microstakes? Wut? If you're talking about cash games , don't even think about quitting micros before your br is 1500, if youre talking about mtts forget it until 2k

I don't see why everyone is suggesting him to keep doing what he does?
He gave no information, and might be playing way out of his limits, so:
What is the buyin of the games you play? What's your ROI and how many games have you played?
Second of all, if you haven't already: buy poker software:
1st of all get holdemmanager and second get sngwiz to train push or fold.
Also: are you playing for fun or are you serious about it?
If you want to learn and improve your game, join a training site like pocketfives or deuces cracked (I'd suggest one of these for mtts)

I would suggest not wagering any more than 3-5% of your bank roll at one time. If you are a good player this will help ensure that you are gaining over time..

ROI is a %. It's how much you win or lose net compared to the total amount you paid in entries.

As a simple example, if I pay 100 in total entries and win 120, my net is 120-100 = 20 which is 20% of the 100 I paid to play. Otoh if I only win $75, my ROI is -25%

If you have not experienced a downswing, its coming trust me. If you have, then you know that you can never have too much money in your roll to deal with downswings. That being said, intertops being on the lock network, and all other US sites have a certain percentage of risk of ruin due to unforeseeable or foreseeable circumstances.

Keep playing your bread and butter game ( low buy in rebuys and deepstack) and once you have a 30+ ROI with over thousands of game sample size, then start increasing stakes played. If you continue to play and increase stakes, you will catch a nasty downswing , and chunks if not all of your roll may be jeopardized. That being said , no one likes to grind micros forever, so another way to increase your roll would be to increase the number of games you play at once instead of increasing the buy in of your games. This will lead to more profits, and less variance, assuming you can handle the extra pressure of playing more tables at once.

If you were to ask a pro SNG player what to do with that roll , someone like boku on stars would probably say something like , Id buy in to all the 1-5 dollar buy in MTT SNGS on stars and play untill I was busto or robusto. ( He can 50 table SNGS). My point is , the buy in should stay same but volume should be increased. This also helps in lowering the learning curve of MTTs by getting in more volume.

Myself I would keep it tthere.. and start another Poker bankroll for Live poker..
the thing you have to answer yourself is.. if you do this and you lose all or most of it playing live are you OK with it. Or will you wishing you still had a bankroll to play online if that happens....
