ok so the blinds are increasing an the antes are going up say for example 1500-3000 with a 500 ante. You have around 30 big but things are getting expensive. It gets folded round to you in the small blind and you have 9,10h. There is around 10000 in the pot already so what do you do? Do you shove because if you don't he could and you would have to fold. My point being what cards are shovable in this position or would any two do? The pot makes it valuable ect.. Thanks you lot you are a great source of advice.

Depeneds on BBs stack and what you perceive his calling range to be. Estimate his calling range and look at how much equity you will havev against it. Then use this equation to work out if it is +ev:

Equity = (%folds*money won when folded) + (% calls((Pot when called*equity)-Invstment))

If you get total equity to be +ve then it's a jam. Generally I'm jamming 89s though. Justt play around with pokerstove and formula I gave you to find what cards you can profitably shove in certain spots.

I may be misunderstanding your post or missing the point depending whether "30 big" means 30,000 chips or 30 BB. If 30,000 chips then you have a M of 6.6 and if 30 BB then an M of 20( disregarding the antes for now). At Push Fold Charts.com Chris "Fox" Williams give charts for HU pushing up to 16 BB(M of 10) and there is a good HU equilibrium chart in Kill Everyone by Nelson, Streib, and Hachem for an M up to 8(with or without antes). The M to use is of the smallest stack between the two of you. Generally I make a small raise with an M greater than 8. I hope that's on point.

I'm tight - I would let it go and see if I could get a better hand. If I'm forced by chip stack sizes getting out of control or blinds then I would shove. You seem to have enough to see a few more hands that would be just as good or better... and who knows you might get dealt AA and dbl up on the next hand or bust our with 9,10 and be done.

Spot on.

The critical part of this is estimated calling range of opponent and realize that this is not universal ... some opponents will call rather widely (any Ace, QJ+, any pair) and others call far more tightly (ie 77+, A8+, KQs) so this will completely affect how you can shove on specific opponents.

Also, stack size of opponent is critical. Remember - best to pick on mid-sized stacks vs those too short or those too big.
