You have to get your poker site to save HHs to your HD. For example, in pokerstars you have to go to Options > Instant Hand History Options and choose a place to save it on your HD. Then you have to locate this folder in the import settings in HEM so that it auto imports from that folder.

yea you need 2 folders. one will be where your pokersite saves the HHs and the other is a folder where you want hem to transport the HHs.

And if your running vista (and maybe all windows) make sure the folder you tell Pokerstars to save your hand histories to isn't in your Program Files.

I had a problem a while back and the PS staff told me to choose a different file location and ever since then I haven't had any trouble.

what does this program do?? is it just remember the hands or also calculate the odds, because I find it very wierd to play poker with a calculator

HEM is not a poker calculator. It simply saves your hand histories and sorts it into usable data both on and away from the online tables.
