Holdem or Liar's poker

I'm trying to understand why Texas Holdem is not called two card Liar's poker you only hold 2 cards and you try to trick your opponent's into believing your holding a better 2 cards to the board than they have.Even Doyle Brunson said he did not have to look at his hole cards to play a hand.

I think lie is different from bluff.

I would rather call it "two card bluffer's poker".
