In Omaha you must use no less than 2 cards from the four dealt to you to make your 5 card hand. You are only using one card from your hand to make the straight which would be fine in Hold Em but not in Omaha. In a hi lo game you can use a different 2 to make the high and the low but you MUST use 2 from your hand to make a any hand.

You have 2 pairs, sixes and triples. The winner has 2 pairs, triples and jacks. To evaluate the best combination, you must use 2 cards from your hand. Not bad to learn the rules before the game lol.

The previous posters have given you the reason why, but I think you may need some help with your Omaha.

There is some good information here on Cardschat. Select "poker strategy" on the Main Cardschat Menu.
https://www.cardschat.com/poker-strategy.php

The following is a quote from an Omaha article
"QUOTE" Players must combine two and only two (no more and no less!) of their down cards with three of the cards on the board to make the best five-card hand they can. This is another difference from Texas Hold 'Em, you cannot "play the board" or play just one of your hole cards with four cards from the board, you must play exactly two of your hole cards. For example if you hold four spades and one more pops up on the board, you don't have a flush because you can only use two of your hole cards in making your hand. "UNQUOTE"

The above article is about Omaha Hi Lo. The following one is about Pot Limit Omaha

Hope that helps. Good luck with your Omaha.
