The short story is im fairly decent at pub cash games and freerolls and ive decided to deposit $20 into an online poker. room/site.

Ive done alot of reading and it seems SNG and MTT grinding is the best way to make money. Im in no rush I just wanna keep +20 obviously

Which poker site should I use?

What buy in SNG and MTT should I play.

WHat should i Stay away from?

TBH, if you're starting out with $20 don't play MTTs. The variance is crazy and you'll lose your bankroll before you start. With 20, I'd play $1 Sit & Go's or 0.01/0.02 cash tables. Make sure you take in some of the information you can find here before you take your money to the tables. Even reading through a few basic articles on things like hand selection, position and basic S&G/Cash game strategy will probably help you out a lot. Also, I'd look into Bankroll Management before you start.

Assuming you're non-US, the best site to play on is pokerstars. They have the most traffic, great ease of use in terms of the lobby and table features and an all round good company. Full Tilt is also popular, although the all round good company thing doesn't apply to them.

Depends if you are a US player or not. If you aren't poker stars is the best (good player traffic, best customer support and the fastest cash out). If you are, try to get rakeback and play on a Merge Room.
$20 is not much to start, but if was me, I would play $0.01/$0.02 cash game and $0.50+$0.05 Sit'Go (but don't know if Poker Stars have those, I know that Everest Poker have it).

I see on Pokerstars there is a 25 cent 45-man SNG (reg speed) tourney. You won't get quite as much shorthanded practice as with a single table, but 80 buyins should keep you going for a while.

Agree with shufflin, anything with sub $1 SNG with no rake. Get your feet wet with those, maybe build your roll until you have something substantial to work with.

You could also try the 1-2 cent cash games

I'm an MTT player.. also SNG-MTT.. & I'd recommend 1c/2c cash tables with a $20roll. Rake is typically too high on $1 sng tables (20%).

As far as what site... it depends on where you live.

I would start with SNGs, the lowest u can find in the lobby, either PS or FTP are good choices for non US Players.

with 20$ i would play at any Ipoker site the Jakarta 10c+2c SNGs untill i will double my BR. It may become bhoring but you have a lot of buy-ins(the variance or the bad play will not catch up to you verry soon) untill you learn the game. Plus you will earn a lot of points. Than you can step up to 20c+4 Sngs and so on. A lot of ppl are greaddy to build their BR fast. But remember that you are learning now. Building your BR little by little while you learn the game confortably will pay off later in 4-5 mounths. If you are greedy now you will experience what we all experience. Bust our BR in couple of days.
Never be gredy. Playing 10+c SNgs means you will have 166 Buy-ins. Playing decent poker (calm without tilting when you take bad beats) 3-4 hours a day i thing in 2 mounths you can double or tripple your 20 dollars or even better if you start winning consinstently at this lvl. And than move up and so on.

This ^ is actually some solid advice. Only thing though,... be sure to study as well & be ready to make adjustments as you move up in levels (they play differently).
I used to recommend to my friends who were starting out online, to sign up on Doyles (back in '07) as they had 10cent sng's on there (10c+1c) & the play in them honestly seemed to have better players than the $1's on Stars (not 'seemed' actually was better for sure). I wasn't aware of ipoker sites having 10c sng's.

If on FTP, you could play those 30cent SNG sattys, or the 70cent ones (I think that's how much they are?.. not sure)... I think they pay out top3..all the same amount.
