Hey CC my name is Justin i been in love with poker for about 6-7 years but its not in love with me.I started at my poker room $2-4limit i did ok some nights i win some i lose.Than i started playing $1-2 NL live and probably out of a 100 visits i might have cash 15x.I never had a bankroll always just took a left over $100 witch i know is wrong but im 22 and married and money is tight.

I always played online never cashed out. Never really built a BR i just busted my bovada account i hate them btw. i bought in for $50 got to $150 in three days and Keep getting my hands busted on river. Anyway not here to cry about it

I have read books just read SS2 I'm reading phil gordon little gold book hard read.I read every hand revealed. I have read little green book I have watch allot of poker high stakes poker my favorite.

But im still not a winning poker player.I dont really think alot when i play i just kinda take stabs at pots and i never believe my opponent has a hand when he re-raises me.I was always afraid of monsters under the bed.Now its the opposite.I dont play thinking poker i play reaction poker if that makes sense.
It's wrong 100% And i get lost in hands where sometimes i ask what am i doing?

I cant beat micro stakes i forget not to bluff play abc and just extract value i always try to go to level 4 with level 1 players.Same for $1/2 NL

And i am always curious to see what the villain has.I Just want to be a winning player and build a decent BR from little to work with.I am A HUGE FISH HELP! thx

Since you already know where some of your leaks are, just try to take them on one at a time. It sounds like some of the problems you're having are because of bad habits, so just keep trying to make incremental steps toward changing them.

Like propane said your aware of some of your leaks work on fixing them.
I have a friend I played poker with and he would always say "I don't believe you" and would call just to have me show him the nuts. some of the times he would even say the infamous "I don't believe you" and would call with extremely weak hands and I would look at him like "what the hell?!?!?" I told him just because you don't believe me doesn't mean you can beat me.

If your looking to be the "sheriff" meaning (the one who looks everyone up) you are going to end up losing more then your winning with the information you are getting, when you are playing just pay attention at all times you can gain so much more information on the players by watching the hands when you are not in the pot and you get all that information without paying a penny.

Also if money is tight what you could do is try taking that $100 and playing in some small tournaments casinos hold $15-$30 tournaments daily you will get much more time/practice/and experience with smaller amounts of money. so your $100 which as you mentioned only last a night will last 5x longer (and that's if you don't win) tournaments can be great bankroll builders. but please remember tournaments are not played the same as cash games.

The fact that you came here to get better shows you want to get better which in return will make you better keep at it and soon people here will be asking you for help

Good luck at the tables (except against me)

This would be another leak, though its hidden a bit. To go from $50 to $150 in 3 days, unless tourney wins, means you were wayyyy out of a standard bankroll management guideline. And also to then bust it soon after. If you stick to BRM after you hit the 150 you'd have 30 BI's for 5nl which is more than enough to not really worry about going broke. So with that $150 you just play the solidest ABC you can and roll it up to $200 then shot take 10nl. Drop to $150 and go back to 5nl etc. BRM BRM BRM. Very key to succeed!

Biggest thing right here ... bankroll management. I can't stress it enough. For the record, unless I'm playing under staked circumstances with my buy-in limits already set, my personal BRM sucks. I try so hard to be well-behaved and always have a solid plan for dropping down (or going to the next buyin level) based on bankroll but dammit - I see something I wanna play and I play :(

Also, it sounds like more poker-education is needed and you seem to realize this. I am not a cash player, but have always specialized in MTTs. For MTT players, I always recommend the Harrington on Hold'em series, good for the beginner and intermediate player. I'm honestly not sure what the best cash game books are, though.

GL at the tables!
