OK I see that there is a beginners guide to a heads up display (HUD). I figured I will give samples of the color ranges that i use on my HUD. I know when i first started I really didnt know you can give ranges a specific color. I use 5 different colors. Red/Pink/Yellow/L.Blue/Green. Red being Tight/aggressive. Yellow being average stats. Green being loose/passive. I am still playing with my HUD but i truly believe i will be always doing something to it whether its add or deleting stats on my HUD. Now my stats that i have on my HUD are as follow. First line is VPIP/PFR/AF/H. Second row is CB/FCB/TCB/FTCB. Third row is 3bet/F3bet/ST/FBBTST. Also playing with WTSD & W$SD which is on the third line. Last line is Abb. Name.

This looks pretty good. I only use 3 colors, but I only play 4 tables so I have a little extra time to really take a look at any particular stat or pop-up in the middle of a hand.

For your last one, are those based on villain's stack in BBs? So a 20BB shortstacker's abbreviated name would appear red?

yes that is correct if they are less than 20 big blinds it will appear in red. thats helps me a little in the sense of when i have a short stack on my left i kno to stay away from hands that cant stand a shove from them. if that makes sense.

First - what game are you playing? Should I assume micro-stakes full ring no limit holdem?

If so ...

1. I think your VPIP is too widely dispersed. There's a big difference between a player with a VPIP of 17 than one who is at 10. HUGE actually.

2. Same for PFR. What I think you should do is bunch the numbers closer together and then let the higher numbers just be "super high" so for PFR...

PFR
G< 7
L.B< 13
Y< 19
P< 25
R< inf

I do think 5 colors is kinda crazy but go with whatever works for you.
