I play pretty tight and fold pre flop unless I have decent pocket cards(AQs, AKo QQ, 66, etc.). Very rarely bluffing with crappy cards. This usually allows multiple players to be eliminated before me but I'm not in the best of shape, and relying on good hands to stay in the game. Any tips would help. How should I be playing these cards pre flop: Q4o, J5o, 10 7s, K2s, 5 6o? When you first started playing did you lose some of your starting BR, if so how long till you started winning?
playing a tight ABC game does good, learning how to exploit pays better
are these normal speed or turbos (or both)?
you may have to loosen your range a bit (not q4o,t7s..) but more Ax, suited connectors…
also know the table dynamics, how many aggressive and or passive players?
a lot of people tighten near the bubble, you should usually be more aggressive
(everything is always villain dependant-theres never just 1 answer)
usually a bit more aggression on the button/blinds and more caution when you're 1st to act
deeper in when the blinds are high is a time to push more and loosen up a bit too
also when under 10bbs or so, don't play unless you're ready to go allin, really, when small stacked pick your hand and shove (and pray) don't limp or min bet…
