hi there guys,
I have never done any challenge in my life and because atm I am really playing without any sense and I'd love to start one trying to make a decent BR to come back on the rail.
Running a challenge could make sense and help to avoid stupid tilts and shots.
I will start from the bottom but i need advice on how to.

But I really need some tips first!!

My main game is (pretend to be) mtt but i dont have enough br to grind it.
I am willing to start grind cash game micro coz it should be easily beatable or maybe Sng (yep i know are different games but as stated i do not consider them my main game anyway)

My BR is 50$.

Plan A is to grind the NL4 on 888 coz i noticed that the level is very easy. The problem ive got about 12 BI only. Too short indeed :/
888 has nl2 shallow as well which I hate coz i cannot start playing 100x deep- (with such as short BR, playing shallow may have more sense??)
As i notice there are not enough sng running at micros.

I would like to add one or two mtt per session for a total daily spending of 3$.

Plan B is to move on stars to i could grind nl2 with more BIs + add for a total spending of 3$/day one or two mtts.
Stars got loads of sng as well so I may consider that-

Honestly I feel lost guys and really need help.

What's your thought?? Could you give me some good advice to start?
Any idea is accepted even if excluded from my op-

In my opinion 888 plan >>> stars plan mainly coz i am not running so good on stars and coz I think the level, even though we talking about the nl-nothing, is pretty easier than stars.

@mods: this is not the challenge thread so I posted in general poker. I apologize if it is in the wrong place

If you're willing to play full ring the 2NL tables on 888 are juicy and are the standard 100bb buy in if you play full ring

It's not good BRM to play at a level where you have only 12 buyins. However, the probability of losing your BR doesn't just depend on how many buyins you have. Your relative skill level matters too. The greater your skill advantage, the less BR you need to buffer yourself against downswings. This is because your downswings won't be as severe as those of a lesser player. They may not mean losing at all, just winning much less.

As an exaggerated example, if you dropped a world-class cash game player into NL4 with 12 buyins, what are the chances he would lose it all?

Style is another factor. Some styles are more variance-prone than others, which results in losing more during periods of running bad, thus necessitating a larger roll to guard against going broke. .

This is the motivational boost that finally convince me to start a challenge on the nl2/4 with few buyins.
I dont see any other choice. tyty

what's your target of the bankroll step?
and how is the traffic on 888 site.

if there are lots of SNG, low buyin like 1.X or less SNG, but could open multi-tabling.
this is going to be my first preferrence.

12Buyin to NL4 really is not that secure. but....if you are able to auto level down...
like if down to like 40bux ,down grade to NL2 cash.

NL4 is definitely a good , flexible plan.
anyway good luck.

thx man :)
i started it on 888. check it out here: https://www.cardschat.com/forum/pok...-46/br-booster-challenge-rdm4k-thread-235843/

Any feedback is more than welcome!! so please feel free to say anything.

And yeah, bwt the sng traffic is too low on 888 I see, the cash game micro run pretty well instead. So my choice.

maybe wait playing with buy-ins, and try to make your bankroll more in freerolls?
