help with pt3

hey guys i just installed pt3 but im not sure if i did it right but all my stats dont match? im a total noob so yea. there are stats but the names dont match the players at the table? any ideas how to fix? what i did was just installed pt3 and auto imported? the stats show up but the player names done match

thnx for trying i re installed it and it works for cake. but not intertops. and merge changed to revolution it doesnt work either? or do i need to do something?

can somebody tell me if pt3 still works for merge ? or black chip?

You need to d/l the latest update for Merge since they updated to 6.0. It's still not complete though. Works for cash games as far as stats but winnings are wrong. Doesn't work at all for tourneys yet. Both issues should be corrected shortly I would imagine.

For Intertops you need to add another string to to Intertops hand history folder.

hey jsg yea i did wat u told me last time but the stats still dint come up for itops. it did come up for cake tho but the names wernt matching. so i reinstalled it normal and it works fine for cake. i mite try again later maybe i did someting wrong i do want it to work for itops too but i took a break from tryng.. but isnt it suppose to work for black chip too cuz i can play there too but its not workin

i played wit pt3 on cake and its pretty cool just dont have alot of cash there

Did you d/l the latest beta? BCP won't work without it and even then it's cash ONLY atm since the Merge update.

Also don't forget that the monetary results WILL be wrong. So you might win $4 and PT3 might say you've lost $1 or something. Basically you can use it right now for the HUD but you'll need to purge and reload any sessions you play after they fix the winnings issue.

Yeah you ALWAYS want to d/l the latest beta. It has all the fixes since the last full release (the top link).

yea i dint know thot it was the same thing the whole time lol. thnx wv and jsg ima try it again its so much better with a hud foreals. im still knew at it tho gona prolly have more questions bout stats later as i go along.

Yeah. Since two updates ago you have to delete the Cake string and leave only the Intertops string. Reversed for Cake.

Can't open them both at the same time so it's only been an inconvenience.

Forget what I said. Everything is screwed up on the Cake net. Cake Network no longer exists. ??? FullTilt does. And I can't make Intertops work again...

I gotta pay more attention.

I thought I was alone with this problem after your last post on the subject.

I have found that it only uses the last location, so I've been leaving Cake as the first string, then adding Intertops as a second when I need it, then deleting the Intertops string and Cake works again. I don't think you need to delete and add Cake each time.

More than an inconvenience I'd say

Okay... open Intertops and sit out at a play money table.

Now bring PT up and click on the Revolution Gaming network and then click on Manual Import. Click on Import From Directory and go find the Intertops HH directory. Highlight it and click okay. Housekeeping starts.

For some reason, I had to be sitting at a table. An open client isn't enough as I tried the same thing without sitting at a table with zero results.

EDIT: You have to put the second string in to Intertops HH as well.

Yeah, I never had any problem getting it to work on Intertops.
The problem was that once I had Intertops as a second auto import location on the Cake network, it wouldn't see Cake games anymore. If I deleted the second auto import location (Intertops) then Cake worked again.

As you say it's probably all different now anyway with Revolution.
But I'm curious as to why you always advocate using manual import first, then adding auto import. (I think that's what you're saying)
As I say, auto import did work for me, it just stopped cake auto import from working.
Would using manual import first have stopped this?

Does it not work if you set Cake and Interops to store HH files to the same folder???
