help with poker hud

Im thinking about getting into using one but I just have a few questions if anyone knows the answer to any of them id appreciate it.
Are there free good ones?
What type of information does it tell you?
If it gives percentages, what are "averages" of those percentages so I know how to co-relate them to the stats im being given.
are they worth the trouble?

Do you mean poker software like HM2 or Pokertracker? They are very worthy the money invested. You can download a free 30 days trail of both of them and see it for your self.

The HUD are customizable and very easy to read and understand. Try one of them, you'll not waste your time

There are a few free one but honestly if you try HM or Poker Tracker for the trial I think you'll find it well worth the money for all the extra functionality. If you are more of a recreational player and don't think your ever going to want to pay for software you can try http://sourceforge.net/projects/fpdb/ or http://pokerdebugger.com/download. I don't have a lot of experience with either but I think they're both open source.

HM2 or PT4 have free trial for 30days long.
if u decide try both....think at least u got 60days free!
