I beleive it's esaier to build your bank against aggressive players since it's easier to catch their bluff. Sure thing you have to know who you're playing against, not all aggressive players the same.

it all depends on your playing style. if you then look aggressive tables with passive players and if passive is the opposite.

Id recommend playing .02/.05 NL on Bovada. Ive been playing on there for awhile now and they are definitely beatable. Just don't bluff very often, play tight, value bet, and be aggressive with your strong hands. It may be discouraging when everyone folds your 20 cent raise on pocket AA, but 1/3 times people will throw their whole stack at you with a lesser hand. Patience is the key to micro stakes. And just move up stakes according to your bankroll. Don't play out of your league or you'll be on your way to blowing your whole bankroll and a redeposit. Just stay patient and don't be discouraged when your QQ get cracked by some clown that called you with 57o and hit a straight. Also I recommend reading some on poker math. It will help you get the best value out of your hands.

I can't disagree more!!!
Your profit comes from fishes, fishes are loose passive, your profit comes from calling stations, you value bet them and stack their middle pair or worse...
There is nothing worse than being underrolled and try to bluff catch aggressive players at the very beginning, leave the bluff catch for later, now play pure tight value game and when you build br a bit you can loosen up a bit, defend your blinds more and even bluff catch...

Start playing Full Ring. Get comfortable playing aggressively. Play tight in the early spots. Focus on how your opponents are playing and seek to exploit their habits, especially in late position. While you learn the basics you should play with a small stack. It will limit your losses - you will most likely lose for a while. Bluff sparingly until you know how to read hands and can determine who can fold.

I'd say it's easier against loose passive who'll just call you off with anything. Basically don't bluff much at the micros and play your big hands strongly and you should do well. When table selecting look for ones with high VPIP.

You should try and adapt to all different kind of players and situations so that you don't have to find a specific tight/loose table. So if you try to learn playing against all kinds you will be more confident in yourself and will not have to bother searching to a specific kind of table. So the kind of players should not really bother anyone. So don't be picky as you will not be able to avoid being among difficult players everytime and you will only learn from experience.

So "deal with it, learn from it" and keep confidence. :icon_quee

I always try to pick tables (6 or 9 players) with a high number of players per flop. This high number can be because of loose aggressive players or loose passive players but I won't know that until I've sat down and played for a while (or have played with some of the players before). The best is to find some or many Loose passive players. Part of it is also so I get some action when I finally get a decent hand.
