I have recently just started the play online poker and would like some pointers and strategies on how to play the MTT free-rolls and the MTT micro stakes?

With micro stakes MTT's you have to be very patient as there are alot of fish in this tournaments, even in the later stages they can still be around.
So i would suggest playing in quite small pots with marginal hands and one pair hands as these kind of players could hit 2 pair with K4 and if you have AK on a Kx4 flop then you could go broke and have to try again. So i would suggest waiting for the 2 pair + hands and trying to win big pots off these players.
In the later stages when the antes become a bigger part of the game, most of the players do not adjust their game with the change, they will still open limp so when in later position you should be able to put quite a big raise in Pre and pick up the blinds and antes and money from any limpers.
Thats just some general ideas, i have a bit of experience in micro MTT's and would consider myself an MTT player if you would like some more advice i'll happily help

Play a solid TAG style until you've improved enough to have a reasonable win rate. There's no need to get fancy at this stage since the poor and mediocre players give away plenty of chips. You can learn to take even more advantage of them later, after you've built a solid foundation for your game.

question: what should be the raising range in LP/blinds when there's a limped pot? ok the monsters, but stuff like KJs or 55? it's just full of limpers and iso raising often doesn't seem to work as two or more might limp-call anyway cause they must see the flop and i don't dig cbetting in family pots if i don't hit.
btw the other day i was busted shipping 15BB w 55 from the BB on a limped pot and got called by 42s and the dude hit trips. that's why i'm asking
