hi guys. i am wondering im looking to start playing 1/3$ no limit holdem at my casino. that is the lowest limit they have. so i'm wondering how much money should i have before i start playing. and what happens if i go under my bankroll how can i go lower since 1/3$ is the lowest they have. thank you for reading!

I would say about 3k to start with. and if thats the lowest stakes available to u then u cant go to lower stakes?

To test the waters I would go with about 1500

so if seriously play....recommend 60 full buy in...

so which means 6000 big blinds...= 18K

but you could have use an aggressive bankroll managemant to take the risk to upgrade to high stack, so in this way....

about 30 full buy in, which means... 3000big blinds = 9K is OK..

so, just as a referrence....hope it helps...:D

If you use a BRM guideline of having at least 20 buyins (I suggest 30), the dollar amount can differ significantly depending how large the max buyin is.
