I recently start playing 2nl at partypoket i had 25$ bankroll that i received from youpokercash, first 3 days i was at the same, lose some, win some but stayed at about 25-26$ today i had a really bad day i lost almost half of the amount, what to do when this happen, was it to early to start cash game, i play tournaments at fulltilt, hit cash once or twice, took some 1st places at .50$ sng at fulltilt but it seams to me that i cant win at cahs game.
before i get back to reading books and books can i get some quick tips about how different cash is from tournaments and what to do now after this...

Cash is a different beast (more dissimilar than it would first appear to be). Pick tourney or cash, wherever your heart is, and for the time being make that your sole focus. Books and online videos / articles will help, yes. Basically in cash because the blinds are fixed you have all the time in the world to pick your spots. Some of the nittier players will basically never get it in pre with anything other than AA (or maybe KK) because of this. Pot odds and implied odds become king. Exploiting the tendencies of your opponents and pushing even small edges are key also. You can always just rebuy, right :).

Your roll atm is pretty fragile for 2NL given your lack of experience with cash play, and the odds of you losing the rest are tangible I'm sure. Oh well. gl to ya.

I was afraid so, well I'm gonna slow it down, to be honest now when i play cash, i dont feel like i want to play long tournaments, ill try to slow down a little bit, if it doesnt help, well then ill know that i'm not born for it, ill get back to the drawing board and try to find some solutions.

EDIT and one more question is it better for me to play 6 handed or 9 handed?

Play only one table and take lots of notes. Basically every time someone goes to showdown, go to hand history and note what they did. Then exploit their habits.

A good book to start with would be "Crushing the microstakes" by Blackrain79. He has played a zillion hands at those stakes, and his book is a good intro to those games.
When i first started trying to learn cash games, i started out with that , Leakbuster, and just tried to find some training videos geared for beginners.

And i was always kinda shy about posting hands, but i would definitely recommend posting hands you have questions about, it is one of the best ways to improve.

Cash is different from tourney is that, cash, every chip is money, but tourney, you know sometimes if you fold you could still in the money with tiny several bbs!
also, the blinds are fixed in cash but blinds are increasing crazy in tournaments! -- mostly!

PS:in my view, do not recommend starting from NL2, cos the NL2 cash with a lot of casual player, it is not because they are bad, but , you will make a not good habit of play style...and learn somewhat wrong play...LOL

I would start of tight until you get a feel (from observation) how they play their hands, then start exploiting their tendencies. Post hands here that you are unsure of and look at other hand posts to see how others recommend handling different situations. It can be frustrating but expect to lose when 1st starting out, especially at the micros where you never really know how anyone is playing and what they are willing to stack off with. Good

Thanks a lot for the advises, i see the improvements now when i started to play less hands and stopped trying to steal pot from every position, ill post some hands in next session because i sometimes have doubts how to play something after the flop, i know what i would do in the tournament but im not sure is it good for 2nl and similar situation.
