I am getting tired of negotiating 39 other guys in live tournaments to only at best finish 2nd - or usually have to chop because I don't have the skill set to go head to head. It wasn't that long ago I had to hire a 6 max coach to stop a run of bubbling the money because I didn't have that skill set either. Time to continue the work.
Good books? DVDs? Articles? Sites? Anyone have some heads up training recommendations?

I think Minted poker has super micro HU cash games(2nl) for US players where you can practice your HU game for real cheap. You'll probably even make some change while doing it. I think this would give you good experience with HU play that you could take to MTT/SnGs. I guess you could also play a bunch of HU SnGs too. But cash is more fun imo.:D

Heads-Up No-Limit Hold 'em by Moshman. It is hard to read and i haven't finished reading it but it might be a place to start.

I wanted to come back and edit my post but i think time has expired. The one thing i did that really helped me heads up was finding a friend and playing heads up. We started playing like wsop heads up and then had several different challenges. First one of us would start with 2x the size of the other stack and then switch. At first we tried this without playing for money but just to help each other. I found it helped more once we agreed to play for money. Even playing for money we still would stop and ask the other to show a hand after a large bet on folded hands. We got pretty good about playing each other and so we started drawing playing styles out of a hat. At the end of the match you not only had to win but guess the other players style.
